it is very thick and i straighten it all the time!!!
help me!!How do i get my hair perfectly straight? with a hair straightener?
Your in luck! There is a way!
A store-bought straightener can't actually give you the same quality of look as the ones you get from a salon.
Ones that hairdressers use actually use the moisture from your hair and seal it in, creating a better result. Whereas a store-bought straightener from WalMart or Zellers can't get hot enough to do so.
Therefore, if you want perfectly straight hair that lasts the whole day, you must buy one from a local hair salon.
They are expensive (100-200$), but I guarantee you it's worth it, lasting about 3 years.
Brands I reccomend are Chi, Cloche, GHD, and Solia !
Hope I helped, and good luck love. How do i get my hair perfectly straight? with a hair straightener?
I would use something that helps enhance straight hair. Then use a really good conditioner because dry, thick hair isn't cute.
Use a straightening creme or gel and then some anti-frizz or a smoothing creme/spray/gel but if you can find one that combine the 2 thats great and some heat protectant.(normally there are some smoothing cremes that are heat protectants as well) then do your hair by layers.
Do about 3-5 layers depending on thickness, craziness,or length, do contollable sections and go at a moderate speed.
At the end, finish with some hairspray and voila! Great hair!
**Rinse your hair under cold water and blow dry with some cool air to set your style.
seperate your hair and use a straighterner that gets really hot. It does not have to be ceramic just have a high temp (Revelon was a decent one for about $15 - its white). Buy some Tresemme heat tamer so it does not damage your hair, and also the Tres Emme straight and shine. Tres Emme also has other heat products that you can use and they range from $2-$5.
an easy good way it so do your hair by sections , but to make it even easier go to like walmart or something and get a spray or hair cream that you can put in your hair that prevents heat damage because it will make your hair damp at the same time and easier to straiten
depending on the texture of your hair get a ceramic straitener , the reason i recommend ceramic is because it helps a little bit to prevent heat damage. With really high settings , if you are wanting you hair to be nice i think your going to have to spend a few dollars , mor like 50 - 100 if your lucky :)
Well i suggest using a reallly good straightner, like Sedu or GHD. Its better to invest in one of those because beleive me it truly pays off. They both cut down the strightening time and leave your hair perfectly straight. You might also want a serum to put in afterwards(i use Garnier Fructis anti humidity cream)
