Hair straightener in luggage?

I haven't been on a plane in 14 years, so I don't what's allowed and not, so am I allowed to bring my hair straightener with me?Hair straightener in luggage?
you're allowed to bring it in either your carry-on or luggage. they also have hair straightner pouches that keep it from getting damaged.Hair straightener in luggage?
