Has Anybody Used A Chemical Hair Straightener?

I have wavy hair on top and frizzy curls underneath. I want to use a hair straightening product (like the chemical straightener you can buy in Boots.) Has anybody ever used one? What happened? Was it good, and did you get the desired result?

Thanks.Has Anybody Used A Chemical Hair Straightener?
well i havent used it as such but i consuleted my mum she has rthe same type of hair that you do so she used a relaxer and its amazing. it dosent damage your hair like the chemicals do.

I have naturally curly hair and when I tried to chemically straighten it, it just made it very very frizzy! Now, I bought a straighten that you can use when your hair is wet or dry. I tried it first when my hair was dry, and it worked for a little while, but within 5 hours, my curls were back. Then, I tried it when my hair was wet and my curls did not come back until I washed my hair. Maybe try that?
i have the same hair, and i tried to chemicaly straighten it about a year ago and all it did was make my hair big waves and even more frizzy
sorry haven't herd of it but don't listen to the $ the pro $ guy, A relaxer doe have chemicals and can damage your hair very badly. He obviously doesn't know what he's talking about.
