I have tried the cheaper ones at like Rite Aid and they are pretty good like conair ceramic or the tourmaline ones and they are under 40 bucs, but seriously if you can afford it, I just got a Chi and it is awesome. My neice uses Conair and she likes it alot but when she tried mine she said mine was way better, you dont have to go over the same piece more than once. And get a heat protector spray to put on before you use it. They have them everywhere and they are under 7 bucs usually and always use a shine serum when your done, and you will always look beautifulWhat's the best brand of hair straightener?
GHD. Nothing compares to the results you get with GHD's. NOTHING.

ive had my GHD's for 5 years now and they are still as good as the first time i used them. all my friends go through about 4 pairs of cheapo straighteners like remmington, babyliss etc per year and spend about 300.00 in total on them, so evidently their wasting their money.

%26amp; as the person above said - they do not burn your hair. the plates are SOLID ceramic. not ceramic coated like the cheap brands, thoes are the ones that burn your hair. Soild ceramic will not burn your hair.

So just invest in some GHD's.
ghd is probably the best quality

though i dont think it differs too much from remington

and the price difference is massive

i got my remington for $40

and its REALLY good...it has a temperature control and stuff

whereas ghd's can cost hundreds of dollars
I have a remmington. I'm very happy with it, it has worked better with my hair than a GHD. It's in a pretty good price range as well.
GHD are th best far. as for them burning your hair, you are supposed to use a heat protection product to prevent your hair from burning.
Johnson
Remington :).

Do not buy GHDs if you don't want your hair to burn.
GHD
Ghd's

They are pricey but if you want to save money my advice would be to buy them on ebay x
