Do we have to use it after taking a bath? I mean, is it effective when used on wet hair?
Does the high heat cause damage to hair?About using a hair straightener? Please help?
I never straighten my hair wet as that will damage it even more. I use mine on 350 degrees on a day to day basis, 400 if I want it super sleek.About using a hair straightener? Please help?
dont ever do it with wet hair!! just put hair polisher ';aloe vera:';on the ends.
Unless it's specifically called a wet to dry straightener, don't use it on wet hair, as a general rule. It's not good for the straightener or the hair. Also you should use a protective serum when straightening, to prevent your hair becoming brittle and frizzy, however if you don't straighten often it shouldn't really be a problem.
yur hair has to be wet when doing anything with heat or atleast a lil wet cus if not ur just damaging your hair
use when hair is dry and put heat protecting product before
Will its better that u dry ur hair b4 cuz heat on a very wet hair is not good cuz ur taking all the good oil in your hair out. so try to dry it a Little b4 u use the straightener.
Have a Good Day
dont do it. i know its tempting and seems like you're skipping a step and saving time but the water is absorbed into your hair. The high heat turns that water into steam and it expands, thus damaging your hair making your much more prone to slip ends and brittle hair.
i've been straightening my hair for years and i wouldn't recommend using it on wet hair even it says u can. My friend did and didn't get as good results...
you might be able to use it after a bath with special ones but it is suggested not to because it tends to sizzle the hair like when you put water on a hot pan kinda thing.
Of course high heat does damage to your hair but you can buy special product that you put in your hair during a shower and it stops it from damaging the hair as much .
My hair dresser uses it and I started to and my hair isn't as dry.
do not use the straightener on dripping wet hair.blow dry your hair until half dry, then apply heat protector cream or straightener lotion/cream on each strand of hair before using the straightener. those creams will protect your hair from heat and control flyaways.
on wet hair you should use a wet to dry straightner. other wise the hair will split
my hair straightener is supposed to be used on dry hair? It's ceramic, doesn't damage hair because it doesn't get hot enough to melt hair.
I would blow dry my hair first...medium dry...not too wet
it depends if your straightner is a wet to straight if its not it will ruin it. the heat will cause damage to your hair if you straighten your hair every day and/or you keep the straightner in the one place for like a minute it will burn your hair to a crisp.
