Has anybody ever used a hair straightener called Maxi glide....if so did you like it?Why or why not??

I have been wanting to buy this hair straightener (MAXI GLIDE) for a while but I don't know anybody that has one or has even really heard of it...I need to know how it REALLY works because of course the infomercial says that it's the best hair straightener in the world!!!LOL So I wanted to know an opinion from someone that has actually seen and/or used one!!!:)Has anybody ever used a hair straightener called Maxi glide....if so did you like it?Why or why not??
i had one used on me once at a hairdressers but personally i didnt like it. it didnt go through my hair very well and the results only lasted a few hours before i felt my hair needed to be straightened again. however my friend had them used on her (she has fine hair and i have thick hair) and she loved them. i would say they are better for finer hair, but if you have thicker hair like me then i would recommend ghd.
