I want my hair to be straighter, for longer!? Help me!? I'm already using a hair straightener?

If I have the temperature at 200 Farenheit (of my iron hair straightener) and take the time to straighten my hair, how long will my hair stay straight for? At the end of the day, if I take a shower, will my hair get back to being ';wavy';? If I keep using the iron hair straightener daily, will my hair eventually become straight on its own? Give me some information, thanks!I want my hair to be straighter, for longer!? Help me!? I'm already using a hair straightener?
It all depends on your hair type. If you take a shower at the end of the day your hair will go back to its original form. And if you use a straightener daily it will still be back to its original form when you wash it. What I do is....I wash my hair with the new herbal essences dangerously straight shampoo %26amp; conditoner. Its in a pink bottle. you can find it at walmart or any drug/cosmetic store. As soon as i wash it. I apply got2be so smooth creme straightener. It has soy protein in it which is like food for your hair. I then blow dry my hair in a downward position. After blow drying it I apply alberto vo5 smoothing souffle which is a frizz defense cream and then i straighten my hair. Be sure to Straighen in layers ! Like put your hair half way up and then straighten that part and then let your hair down and straighten the rest....lemme know if it helps!!I want my hair to be straighter, for longer!? Help me!? I think you temp for your iron is too high. If you burn that hair, the only way to repair it is to cut it off because you literally just killed that strand of hair, so you may what to check that. If you have natural hair, no chemicals, you can have it a little higher.

Your hair will stay straight as long as you don't sweat that much. When you sweat it returns to it's natural state. Also you should try wrapping your hair. If you take a shower and it humid and/or you get you hair wet, yes, it would get wavy again. Now that depending on how humid or wet you get it. Again if you wrap your hair, your hair may get a little wavy from the humidity, but not much. No you hair won't become straight on it own. Your hair may get a different texture as you get older, but that not because you straighten your hair everyday. Which isn't a good idea either. I say get a wrap you won't have to straighten everyday and it easy. Just take it out the wrap and go.
:)
well, one thing you could do if you want your hair straight for a long time is to get a Japanese Perm. a Japanese Perm is a strightened perm. they straighten your hair and put in a chemical to keep it striahgt for a long time (perms usually last a couple of months).

and one more thing, having your hair straightener on a very high temperature burns your hair. think about that the next time you make it 200潞.
okay, hair straighteners are usually used by people who want their hair straight for a short amount of time. if you take a shower after using the straightener, your hair will then go back to its original texture.

you can get it chemcially straightened though, and that stays in for

a) a few months, or

b) until your hair grows out

^ depends on what your hair is like.
take a shower and blow it rite after
try straightening it the night before and then do it again in the morning just in case there is any curls are in your hair. trust me it worked for me and i have ultra curly hair.
