What is the best HAIR STRAIGHTENER for ASIAN HAIR? 10 POINTS!!!?

Chi, Solia, normal drugstore brand? Which one is THE BEST for Asian hair? Please also include prices and places where you can buy it. Thanks! :)What is the best HAIR STRAIGHTENER for ASIAN HAIR? 10 POINTS!!!?
a chi is very very good, but it's also kinda weird. there's no dial thingy, so you can't change the temperature. asian hair is So easy to straighten though. i had a chi, solia, conair, sedu, ghd, and right now i have a gvp. i think a gvp works the best out of all others, because it lasts long, and it's a generic value product for the chi,a nd it has a dial so you can change the heat settings too.

chi- good, but breaks easily. it overheated within 4 monthes.

sedu- great. top selling brand, but also very expensive. it kept my hair straight for 4 days without washing, retouching..

solia- very good too. second place straightener. better than chi!!

gvp- cheaper than others, quality great, long lasting- i've had it for a year, heat settings, and 3 days without retouching.

i really like the gvp. i'm asian, with curly, puffy hair, so i should know.

if you are only open the the high end brands, get a sedu. they are the very best in the market.. if you only want either a chi or sedu, i reccommend you go with a solia. they are a lot more lasting, and also it works better.

if you want a gvp, they are sold at sally's for around 80 dollars or so.

go to this website. it'll show you best straighteners.

hope i helped

and happy straightening!

oh, and one more thing.

for heat protectants, get the chi brand. for some reason, they're really really good!

if you straighten a lot, you're hair will totally dry out. get redken all soft brand for conditioning, and shampoo, and every thing. and before straightening, get paul mitchell's super skinny, or a matrix brand.

these are all high-endn products, that will only helo you're hair. What is the best HAIR STRAIGHTENER for ASIAN HAIR? 10 POINTS!!!?
I recommend the Sedu 1'; Straightener. I recently bought it and compared to my old Conair Wet/Dry ';tourmaline/ceramic'; straightener, its amazing! It gets my hair super straight and heats up in literally 20sec. It does not snag my hair and has tourmaline, ceramic, and titanium plates which will make your hair shiny, smooth, silky. If you order from folica.com right now, you get free shipping and a FREE mini sedu revolution shortie straightener (6 inches). They have great service too. It also comes with a TWO year warranty.

If not, for only $90 you can get the ozonhair.com OZON straightener.. my friend owns it and it comparable to the Sedu but personally.. i love my sedu.

NEVER use a straightener on your hair when it's wet.. when your hair is wet, it is more prone to breakage and thats just unhealthy for your hair.

Remember to always use a heat protection spray or lotion for your hair before you flat iron it. It'll enhance your shininess as well as protect it. Fantasia Straightening Serum ,got2b crazy sleek lotion, Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray, and S-Factor Spray are all great products.

P.S Don't buy the CHI.. its poorly made and doesn't have heat temperature settings.
my friend who is filipino straightens her hair everyday with a CHI STRAIGHTENER. you can get it at ulta, target, amazon, salons. there sorta expensive but its TOTALLY WORTH IT. its the best hair straightener in the market. its about $100-200.

Chi is the best hair straightener brand out there today.
I'm not asian but I own a Solia and have tried it on my friend who is asian as well. It is FABULOUS! I love it so much more than my CHI. You can change the temperature settings and the plates move while your pulling it down your hair to make sure that all the hair is straightened! I highly recommend this iron to anyone!

Here's the best place to purchase it from!

You get Free shipping and it's fast too!

Hope this helps!
dont asians naturally have good, straight hair? but i think chi is definitely the best. i mean honestly anything that is REAL ceramic is good. but make sure the plates are 100% ceramic because some are just knock offs or cheap and will burn your hair. ushally real ceramic plate straightners go anywhere from 100 to 200 dollars but make sure you use the lowest setting and use heat protective spray each time before you use the straightner to aviod frying your hair to death good luck :)
Chi is the best straightener for any hair, although it is really expensive i would say its worth it.

Its available on the internet like everywhere or you could go to a beauty store or ask at a hair salon.

They range from 100-280!
For Asian hair either CHI or CHI.

Others might not work so well.
It doesnt matter what hair you have really just get a good brand. I have a Pink Bed Head and it works really good. Chi's are the best though! You would be best of with that! :)
i have a CHI its awesome!! i f i were you i would get a CHI they are $100-$150 but there so worth it. i also have a CHI blow dryer. hope i helped you!!!
i have ';asian hair'; and i love the chi straightener.
CHI about $100 - $150 you can find it at target, sallys, walgreens ect.
Get a Chi

buy a chi online!
I'm not Asian but a lot of my Asian friends have told me I have ';very Asian hair'; lol so I may be able to help. I find that the only straightener that works for me is Chi. I think its about $80-$120. If you buy it from a hair salon they will probably charge you $120 since they want to make a profit. So you should try buying one from a Beauty Salon Supply store. I bought mine at one for those for I believe it was $80? However the prices of Chis have went down. When I bought my very first Chi it was about $220 so you shouldn't have to worry about paying even close to that. I have tried a million straighteners and I really think the Chi is the best. It keeps my hair straight until my next wash, and I have pretty stubborn hair. Stay away from the straighteners you can buy in drug stores, such as Conair and all that crap. They REALLY suck and they really damage your hair. I used to have a Conair straightener and it literally took me THREE hours to straighten my hair before. It also has metal plates which is SOOO damaging. The Chi has ceramic plates and it only takes 40 minutes to do my hair. Sure 40 minutes is also a long time but I have extremely thick and long hair so its better spending 40 minutes than 3 hours and not wrecking my hair. If you can't find a Chi then buy a straightener with ceramic plates. Ceramic plates are a MUST! They heat up faster and don't fry your hair. Also you should buy some sort of heat protectant spray, because with any hot styling tool you'll have at least some damage (like split ends). So if you're trying to keep your hair healthy then you can use that. I use Matrix Heat Protectant Spray. Its about $18 and its in an orange bottle. Its a salon product so its on the pricey side but you don't have to buy a salon product. You can probably find a cheaper heat protectant spray in any store that will work just as well. I hope I helped! :)
