1) Are they worth the money?
2) Are they less damaging than most straighteners?
If anyone doesn't think so, and they have a straightener that doesn't damage their hair, please let me know. :]I want to get a Sedu hair straightener...?
No don't get a GHD.. they only have ONE temperature setting!
I have a Sedu 1'; original and it's amazing!! It doesn't snag my hair and has tourmaline, ceramic, and titanium plates.. it glides through my hair so smoothly.
I got it for only $83 off folica.com when they had one of their sales.. if you wait a little while, you can get $20 off or something.. it's more worth it that way. The Sedu straighteners also come with a two year warranty.
Sedu isn't damaging to my hair at all.. I've noticed smooth hair but I also use a heat protection spray.. check out V05 Heat defense, got2b crazy sleek lotion, and Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray. Also, apply some Biosilk Silk Therapy or Garnier Fructis Sleek Shine Serum after you straighten.. it'll enhance your shineness and make your hair even healthier.
You may also want to check out Ozon hair straighteners.. has all the components of the Sedu and its a little cheaper right now but if folica.com has their sales, the Sedu is cheaper. The Ozon only has a one year warranty though.. My friend owns a Ozon and it's pretty much the same as my Sedu.
