I have the thickest, puffiest hair there is that frizzes and gets curly so fast that I have to straighten my hair for hours - and it still gets messed up after an hour or so.
I need a straightener that has the highest heat possible, and can get my hair straightened the fastest.
Any suggestions?
Any hair - straightening products like shampoo or conditioner I could use too?Best hair straightener out there?
CHIBest hair straightener out there?
Conair wet/dry straighter. It heats in a few minits up to thirty and you can straighten while wet or dry. I like the frizz ease frizz serum, the wind down cream, and the secret weapon finishing cream. I have really curly frizzy hair and this works for me, when I have the patience to do it.
i have thick hair and kind of curly/wavy hair. And i think the Vidal Sassoon iron is the best. Because its wide and it heats up to 25. I think it works better then a chi! and its alot cheaper, you can find it at walgreens and walmart. The CHI products works wonders on your hair though. its great for making the hair soft! My boyfriends mom owns a salon and sends me chi stuff all the time.
CORRECTION ITS VIDAL SASSON! check out the link below!
I always see it in walmarts and walgreens, good luck!
As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.
In terms of performance:
The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands
Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,
Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss
Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.
=== Flat Iron Hair Straighteners FAQ ======
Q: What size should I choose?
A: For most people, 1';, 1-1/4'; or 1.5'; are all good choices. If you have very thick, coarse, long or ethic hair, bigger size (1.5'; or 2';) will save you some time. If you have thin, fine hair, get a smaller one (1'; or 3/4';).
Q: What temperature should I should on my hair?
A: Based on my expereince, 380F is the average temperature to use. If you hair is thick and coarse, bump it up a bit, if you hair is fine or overprocessed, start it at somewhere 300F, and try it. If the setting does not work well for you, increase a bit until you get a setting that works well for you but does not burn your hair. Trial and error.

I got my Solia a few years back, it worked great for my hair (and my sister's hair too). Last August my sister went to a college in california, she took the Solia with her. Initially I wanted another Solia, but Jonna (my hair stylist) convinced me to get a Sedu. I did. Like Jonna said, Sedu is the best.

CHI its the best you can have the curliest hair and it wauld make it stright and stiff.
My hairdresser has a GHD flat iron and I think it works better than my CHI. It is about $200 but you can get it cheaper on E-Bay. It's the best one I've ever used.
