I don't know about that brand, but for me the

wet to straight ones don't work to good.Is the Ramington Wet to Straight Hair Straightener any good??
I have it and used it for a while and went back to my old one. it tends to dry my hair out a ton.
It's the best I've found so far. It works well for me but I don't have really thick hair or really curly hair. So it may not work well for a person who does.
That depends on your hair type and texture.

When purchasing be sure to ask.

Good Luck
hey babe. yeah its the bestt. ive used it *everyday* for like ever. its good because when you blowdry your hair it doesnt have to be *completely dry* . a little damp and its okay. haha hope i helped.

Yo dudess has any got or used an elektra hair straightener?

are they any good and do they damage ur hairYo dudess has any got or used an elektra hair straightener?
I haven't heard about that but what I know is that the ceramic kind of hair straightener is better because it does not damage the hair.Yo dudess has any got or used an elektra hair straightener?
I wouldn't be without mine. You can put products on before you straighten to protect your hair (talk to hairdresser), but I don't even do that.

How many different hairstyle can you do with a hair straightener??

thanks :)How many different hairstyle can you do with a hair straightener??
My friend has hair to her chin and she was able to make curls with a straightener. She just twisted it. It was so cute! How many different hairstyle can you do with a hair straightener??
straight, flip, that's about it
in your case none

you need hair for that
One!

Agree with the Egg.
1 - straight
you can straighten, curl or flip out with a really thin straightener...
Thinking only one-straight. But if you know of anymore that has not been done then please e-mail me.

Whats a good hair straightener for colored/screwed up hair?

Ive gotten my hair dyed multiple times and every time i blow dry it/ straighten it, my hair comes gout really fried and in two hours its frizzy/ curly

what to do %26amp; products

thanks so muchWhats a good hair straightener for colored/screwed up hair?
i have colored hair...and it's naturally curly and I use a CHI. I don't EVER blow dry my hair.. I let it air dry..it makes it too frizzy. I use Pantene for friz control or whatever it's called also..and it seems to help. Whats a good hair straightener for colored/screwed up hair?
no straightener is good for your hair but try using a heat protectant spray and that will also help with the frizzy/curly. also use mousse in your hair as you blowdry it straight.

i guess an ok one would be jilbere or chi. jilbere is about $40 at sally's and chi is way more than that.
conair
I've tried the straightening shampoo/conditioner from Sunsilk. After awhile, my hair has been really smooth from it.
Try a sedu.

They are a bit on the pricey side but they have very good reviews.

Also make sure you use a heat protectant spray before using it, regardless of any flat iron!
Hey i have dyed my hair about a zillion times and i use mark hill straighteners there a bit expensive at 拢150 but they work
I'd use a CHI and John Frieda products....they are less expensive then the CHI products and have much more of a variety
I love CHI straighteners!

answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
CHI or ghd and use a protective spray.
I use a CHi hair Straightener. They are kinda expensive but they work really good. Chi also has a product out that I use that helps with frizz and so that the heat from the Straightener doesn't fry your hair. I also like Bio-silk. You can get it at beauty stores and alot of times they have it at Costco. It makes your hair very smooth. You put it on after you are done straightening your hair. Don't blow dry your hair. Air dry it.
conair
I use wet2straight.

its about 30$

i got it at rite aid it works like a charm.

use it almost every day.

But heres a tip dont blow dry it and straighten it take a shower at night and let it air dry then straighten it in the morning
You could always just STOP killing your hair and everything...

Whats the best Hair Straightener/ Flat iron for me?

I'm from australia I have Thin,Layered ,wavy Hair With a side fringe I would like a price under $50 Thanks :)Whats the best Hair Straightener/ Flat iron for me?
there arent that many good hairstraightners under $50 but i think maby you should go for a remington, but if you want a really good hairstraightner you should save up for a GHD they cost around $320.00 but it is definately worth it. i have one the only problem with it is you have to buy products, such as a heat resistent spray because it can damage your hair! but otherwise it's the best hairstraightner i have ever had, works really good!

EDIT , there are other ones, like the remington wet to straight its around $70, i heard it was really good, also theres the jon bailey ceramic hairstraightner,( it should be good, hes a proffessional hairdresser) it cost around $50 and theres the Vidal Sassoon total freedom hairstraightner, its cordless and cost around $100 my friend has it and she said it worked good and you can curl with it too!Whats the best Hair Straightener/ Flat iron for me?
Chi straightener. it really straightens and evenly distrubutes heat, lessening split ends.and have a chi costs $20 in this site.
i bought a 1 inch one from wal mart and the brand is revlon and it works fine for me it was also $25.

If that's really you in the picture, I wouldn't even bother.

i don't care about the price, it has to be good enough to keep hair straight for a whole day.

Whats a good hair straightener to get?
SEDU! I'm not joking. I've had my sedu for 3+ years, it still heats up in under 20 seconds, and still straightens my hair to a SHINE. I've dropped it countless times and it's still going strong since the day I got it. I wouldn't recommend any other straightener nor would I buy a different brand EVER.Whats a good hair straightener to get?
i have a vidal sassoon ceramic straightener, but conair is all right too. make sure to get a ceramic one because a metal straightener or curler damages your hair. make sure that you get something to protect your hair when you use it. put garnier fructise shine serum in your wet hair to avoid split ends and damaging it. i use it and it stays straight for 2 days straight if you do it right:)

p.s. make sure that u straighten it in 2-inch sections at a time, or else it won't work well
The CHI straightener. It's very worth it. I have curly hair. Like, really curly hair, and I use the CHI straightener. Keeps my hair straight all day long (along with the hair products. Hair products play a big part in keeping your hair straight, too).

    ghds

    just google them or something

    they are actually amazing

    they cost around 拢110

i have the most unruly curly hair that usually goes curly after a couple of hours after straightening but uff 1 day, ghds kept my hair straight for 2 days :)
i use a conair. i have really thick semicurly/wavy hair. my hair can usually stay straight for about 2 days. wow thats a whole extra day! wow!
Jibere De Paris. I think. I got it at Sally's Beauty Supplies for only $30.00 and it the best and also I think Herstyler is pretty good too but quite expensive.

    Best brand of hair straightener?

I need an efficient, relatively cheap hair straightener. I have tried multiple brands over the past four years, but never really find one that amazes me! Is there any advantage to the 2-inch straighteners compared to the 1-inch? Do they work as well, and just cover more hair at one time? Thanks in advance!Best brand of hair straightener?
CHI is the best, it's expensive for sure, but worth it.

Maybe it's time for you to make an investment in one.

Spend $25-$30 a few times a year on iron's that don't stay hot enough, or $100 on one that last 5+ years. I've had mine for 4.5 years, works just as good as the first day I bought it.

No matter how thick your hair is, always go for the thinner 1'; CHI. Also, use CHI Silk Infusion before straightening, it's like liquid silk for your hair.Best brand of hair straightener?
Yes the 2 inch i've learned it just covers more hair at once......i've noticed for me that gold plated ones work the best for me no matter wat brand.! and my hairs pretty thick.!
i think CHI straighteners r the best. they work on any kind of hair. i dont know any difference between the 2 and 1 inch, they work the same 2 me, but i prefer the 1 inch. (ebay is one of the best places 2 get a cheap CHI, its where i got mine and i havent had any problems in the 2 yrs. ive had it)
well, the chi is the best. But quite expensive. For months i looked for a reasonable priced one but if you go to www.overstock.com and type in chi straightener or something simialr to tht it gives you varities of chi straighteners for a fraction of the cost you would find in stores. IT really is good. Also if you buy the pink one it comes w/ products to help keep your hair silky and shiny. hope this helps :)
a chi is the best! it heats up quickly and it's the best!
I used a straightner called chi and it is amazing.

it is the same ones they use in the salons.

the 1-inch is what i have and it works fine and i have really thick hair.
    get a remington 2'; wet2dry straightener...........!
the ghd is great, it curls and straightens. its kinda expensive though, but you can get new ones of ebay for reasonably cheap. but an alternative is the remmington wet 2 straight, i have it and it is so wonderful.

Probably. The chi straightener gets hotter than the conair (and other lower end straighteners) and can get your hair straighter faster (so this means less exposure to the heat element). My hair stylist said conair is fine for hair dryers and curling irons, but for straightening the chi is best.
They are better, but they don't have a tempature setting, so be careful, they can be more damaging to your hair. I would reccommend a Sedu straightener. They are better for your hair, and they work better than a chi, but they are more expensive.
I think Chi hair straighteners are much better. They are better quality than Conair and is definitely worth the money. I hope this helps. : )
I used to use a little cheap straightener from walmart. Then I bought a Chi, it is so different! I would never go back.
Chi is much better. Im on my second one.

Thanks! :)Which brand of hair straightener do you use?
    I use the CHI Turbo.

The Remington doesn't work really well for my hair.

The CHI Turbo you can actually adjust the temperature on.

I always use one of the highest if I want it to stay straight all day, throughout constant, never ceasing wind and humidity and stuff.

i dunno i get mixed up, so i got these very expensive hair straighteners from the states i think it was 110W so then I came to Mongolia and over here they use 220W i think I basically plugged in my hairstraightener and BOOM!! and now it doesnt work anymore. can i fix it?I think I broke my hair straightener, 110W to 220W?
Your confusing W (watts) with what should be V for Volts

You plugged in a 110 VAC hairdryer into a 220 vac outlet, essentially supplying it twice the intended voltage. If the hairdryer had an internal protection device such as a fuse you might be able to save it, otherwise you probably opened up the heating element, rendering it useful for the trashcan.

yes, it straightens faster, hence leaving your hair less dried out...Is ion hair straightener better than ceramic?
Personally, I prefer a ceramic iron. It is very important for you to do your research when it comes to using different hair care products and gadgets. I know from experience. I have stories for days...Anyway, it is important for you to know your hair type.....Some love those flat irons chi irons....there are a lot of them on the market for like $100 and up. I purchased a Ceramic iron from Sally's that was about $40 and it hasn't given me any problems.....HEAT is what kills your hair...it is important for you to find a ceramic iron that you can control the heat settings....I have burned my hair completely by using the wrong devices....It is also important for you to watch the products you put on your hair before you use a iron period. I hope this helps....Really you should do some research...Ask some beauty stylists that have a great reputation around your area....The more research you do...the better off you will be.Is ion hair straightener better than ceramic?

Can any one suggest whether buying a hair straightener would improve hair or better going for applying of gel?

If you are going to buy a hair straightener it is going to be a long road to ruining your hair. Straightening is bad because the heat from the straightener causes the hair to become dry and dull , it also cause hair loss from the pulling. It damages the hair for eternity. Gels are also not a good option because the chemicals do a hell lot of a damage to hair quality and scalp. Let your hair breathe free, plz. do not tamper their natural beauty. Go for other hairstyles instead. Can any one suggest whether buying a hair straightener would improve hair or better going for applying of gel?

It all depends on the type of straightener you are looking for. If you are looking for a electric flat iron deal, the best cheap one i have found is by andis, you can get it at wal-mart for about $15-$16 dollars. I also recommend using a leave in conditioner to help keep your hair from getting dried out. There are ones out there mad especially for straighting. Stay away from chemical straighteners, they don't last and all they'll do is fry your hair. What is the cheapest hair straightener and best quality?

If I were you I would get the sedu because the chi is more effective for people who have thinner hair. The sedu can range from the prices from about 80-140 dollars so if your looking for a cheaper straightener you can also try bed head 2 straightener or conair both work great and you can find them at target for about 30-50 dollars.

    Hope I helped :)

  • Can i bring a hair straightener on a plane i am flying with aer lingus and i am only bringing hand luggage?

Those have always been permitted. I have not heard anything in the last week that indicates that they are all of a sudden not longer permitted. There is no reason to prohibit items like that - they are not liquid, they are not sharp, they are not explosive, they are not a weapon.

You could call the airline if you wanted to be absolutely certain. Can i bring a hair straightener on a plane i am flying with aer lingus and i am only bringing hand luggage?
no they will probably tell you to take it out and leave it after what happend with the plane nearly bombed recently so airlines and especially security checks are very strict now. i would say carry it in your suitcase that way it is unlikely for them to stop you

What is the best hair straightener?

I've heard that Chi, Sedu and GHD are the best. I have very thick hair and want a straightener that will work well and fast. I was thinking of getting a Sedu 1-1/2'; straightener. I got it from this website:

    http://www.folica.com/appliances/straigh鈥?/a>

What straightener is best? What is the best hair straightener?
    Sedu is what i have.

    Believe me... it's WORTH IT.

On folica, i ordered it there too, i got the one inch sedu iron and i was blown away. For one, since on Folica anything over 75 bucks is free shipping! And, it came in two days later because i think they shipped it air automatically, so it came super super fast.

I made my hair soft and shiny and reduced damage. (i'd use shampoos/conditioners to reduce damage as well, just in case. and heat sprays / creams before you straighten. i got the Got2Be heat protecting cream that you use before blowdrying and it works through the blowdrying AND straightening process. definitely worth it.)

Hope my answer helped you! What is the best hair straightener?
solia the one rated best by folica its the best love it had all the other ones and i love this one it don't dry your hair out at all it great 5out 5 stars i got main their to love the solia its the only one that didn't dry my hair good luck if you buy the chi they suck the sedu is pretty good but solias the best the 1 1/4 use heat spray with any of them
I have a biosilk...it works really fast, but if i ride the bus in the morning, the humidity causes the ends to curl a bit....but that may just be because i have really, reallllllly curly hair. But yeah my cousins a stylist and she says that Chi is probably the best, but it gets very hot so you have to know how to use it well do you don't burn your hair.

    Hope I helped :)
Chi is the best one. It only frys your hair if you do it while it is wet.
    Solia is good too(:

Sedu is great i've heard and Chi works i heard but it burns your hair.
i think the one you have is the best

Whats a really good hair straightener that i can get under 50 bucks?????

whats a really good hair straightener that i can get under 50 bucks?????

because i dont really have much money @ the time and i dont want 2 spend alot of money on just a flat iron!

and ideas???Whats a really good hair straightener that i can get under 50 bucks?????
USE A STRAIGHTING BALM IF YOU DON'T WANT A FLAT IRON, USING CHEAP IRONS DON'T WORK VERY WELL . I SUGGEST ';icon'; it's about 50.00 but it Carry's a 5yr warranty, all the other cheap ones as for Revlon,%26amp; the generic brands ..they only have a one year warranty. Your hair is important to you so you should spend a bit more or just borrow one from your friends...that's free...Whats a really good hair straightener that i can get under 50 bucks?????
    anything revlon
    Wet2strait by Remington

its @ WalMart for like, 20-30$

best straitener ive ever had bc it doesnt fry your hair and you can straiten dry, damp, or wet
Go to target!!! omg they have great ones for under 50 bucks! my was like 30 and i LOVE it!
get the GVP (generic) version of the CHI, its almost the exact same thing and it works great

What is the best hair straightener out there for a good price?

Remingtons Wet2straight. Cost $29.00 at Wal-mart. Works just a good and even better then the chee. What is the best hair straightener out there for a good price?
Hair iron if your hair is tough. $20 will get you a decent one. What is the best hair straightener out there for a good price?
CHEE? SPELLING? AT JCPENNEYS SALON ITS AROUND 320.00 BUT IT IS MAGIC WE HAD TO BUY IS AT LEAST GO THERE AND THEY WILL SHOW YOU A DEMONSTRATION ON YOUR HAIR.
I got one at Sally's Beauty supply for 25 bucks. It's a Helen of Troy professional series straightener with 10 heat settings and gold plates. The more expensive you go (usually) the better it is, but I found this one to work just fine.
The Chi flat iron. The best prices are on eBay. Use with just a little Biosilk from your local pharmacy for protection, shine and longer lasting straightness.

Which is the better hair straightener? personal experience?

how thick should the plates be? 2 inch? 1 inch? 1.5?

what's the better company : conair, revlon, or wet2straight?

i'm looking for a straightener that's under $30 that's available in stores and not only online.

any help or tip appreciated!Which is the better hair straightener? personal experience?
2 inch straighteners are for long hair.

1.5 inch is for medium hair

1 inchers are for short hair.

I use a Conair right now and they are better than the other brands.

It's a 2 inch straightener that goes up to 25 in heat settings and has a comb on the side. I got it on sale for $15.

Wet2Straight causes a lot of steam which sucks your hair out of it's moisture so it's probably the worst one.Which is the better hair straightener? personal experience?
2 inch is good if u have long hair, 1 if u have short hair and 1.5 if medium hair. conair is the best out of the 3 brands. revlon is ok and wet2staight is from remington and the plates started to rust a bit and my hair it damaged my hair cuz it would break it off everytime i would straighten it and after a while (2yrs) it wouldn't turn on, so i bought a new one(wet2straight) and after 2 months it didn't work any longer....so i bought a conair and it works fine it's a black one with 2 inch gold plates and it's light weight.
well if you are going for cheap its defanantly wet2straight... idk how thick the plates should be because idk how long your hair is... mine is down to my shoulders and i use the 1 inch... the wet to straight one is defanantly the best if you wanna pay less than 30bucks
I have never seen a straighter that is under $30. If I were you I would invest in a good straighter. I use the CHI. I have very curly hair and I also use the CHI oil. You can fnd them at Target or if you are close to a JC Penny's they run specials on them a lot. Check it out
    1 inch, wet2straight
    2 in. wet2straight

  • Chi hair straightener in Singapore?

I need to get a Chi straightener and dont want it from ebay or online. Can someone tell me where , in sg, can i get it from. I am coming there only for a day.

Also, approximately, what price would it be?Chi hair straightener in Singapore?
Hi i live in singapore and I bought mine from amazon. It looks the same as what my hair dresser is using, so i guess if you don't want to buy online, you can ask your hair dresser to buy got you. It costs me around S$160 (inclusive of shipping). one thing to note is that you will need a converter because the US voltage is different.Chi hair straightener in Singapore?
Get it on ebay, I payed 90 for mine, shipping to you will be the main cost.
Chi's are about $100 and a little bit more

    try a salon
Chi is an american manufactured item, and it can only be sold in hair salons. Here, it runs around $100. And if it is available for retail in Singapore, it would probaly be the same. By the way, Chi is a very good brand of straightener, I happen to own one myself. So nice schoice! Good Luck.

What Hair Straightener Would Be Best For Me??

i have long thick curly hair and would like to know if anyone has the same %26amp; could tell me which hair straightener (iron) would work best on my hair?

ive been told different things from different stylist...please help, im desperate for a straightener!!

ive used my cousins GHD %26amp; it worked great, people have suggested President, Manhattan %26amp; Cortec NXT.

anyones answers would be a great help..thank you :)What Hair Straightener Would Be Best For Me??
i had the same hair until i cut it. i would think the best hair straightener for you is the chi. it is a popular brand so everyone says it works great. also, the price for this has dropped already. they are usually between 90-115 dollars. a good place to get them would be ebay, or sam's club. i have also been researching about straighteners lately and ebay has good deals, but prices vary. sam's club sometimes has them on sale for 100 dollars. but most definitely, the chi would be suitable for you! What Hair Straightener Would Be Best For Me??
DO NOT GET THE CORTEC NXT IT BREAKS DOWN AFTER 1 YEAR

CHI is the best straightener EVER!!! If you go to... http://sallybeauty.com/ceramic-straighte鈥?/a> they have a GVP, which is just generic for the CHI, it's half the price %26amp; works just as well. My Mom bought this because her hair is so thick %26amp; curly that it would take her FOREVER with a regular straightener, by the time she was done she would be sweaty %26amp; her hair would just be frizzy. This straightener does all her hair in until 10 minutes without the frizz or sweating. Good Luck!!
my hair is really really curly and i use a pro gold

it is like 16 dollars at wal mart!!! (lol) and it gets four houndred degrees and keeps my hair straight all day long...or you can get a chi and they're extremely expensive and at some places, you even need a liscense to buy them and they work really good to because my neighbor has one and loves playing with my hair

if you don't want a straightner, try a hair relaxer... it should work pretty good :)
NEVER TRY A HAIR RELAXER! unless you have virgin hair! and well chi orks really good! many straightners work well but.. they give you slit ends or burn your hair, the way to test if a straightner is burning your hair is to turn it on let it warm up an put it on a white paper like the printer one. close it on it and if it lookes a burned color well your hair is not going to be vary healthy. TRY A CHI !
I have extremely curly hair and the CHI straightener works wonders for me. Not only does it work well but it has a layer over the irons that steams up saving your hair from damage. I give it an A+
    Get a CHI!!

this works best on all hair.

They are expensive, but they are worth it.

They are ceramic and work well.

any other straighter just blows out after a while.
folica .com has a good variety of flat irons...n they have pics of peoples before n after...(if you want to purchase on-line)
GHD or silver bullet : P
    Andis is good.
My mom and I use the Sedu.

It works great and does wonders for us :]

i got mine for i think...$20 its remington wet2straight and works perfectly for me. The plates i are ceramic.

Can you iron clothes with a hair straightener?

i have before lol wen i was in a rush i turned it on low but it didnt work
i'm sure you could if you really needed to :)
I guess you could. I've gotten wrinkles out with a blow dryer in a pinch by spritzing the garment with some water and running the dryer over it.
    I've done it:]

    Aha

  • What's wrong with my Chi hair straightener?

I bought a Chi hair straightener the summer of 2006 (it was the best investment of my LIFE). Just the other day, I went to use it, and the straightener wouldn't spring back open once I closed it! It doesn't seem like it's stuck, it's more as if the spring that allowed it to open back up isn't working or is worn out (I use it almost every day). I can still open it back up, but I have to do it manually. It also seems as if it's not straightening my hair as well as it did when it would spring back open.

Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how or where I can get it fixed? What's wrong with my Chi hair straightener?
Obviously you know that the opening mechanism is broken... however, I CHI (made by Farouk USA) offers a warranty for one year. Some stores also provide a warranty (such as Trade Secrets). So call the place you bought it from and ask.

To contact CHI (Farouk) call 281-876-2000

Good Luck. If you need to buy a new one, ebay sells genuine CHI straighteners for less than the store price. What's wrong with my Chi hair straightener?
See if you have a West Coast Beauty Supply or something smilier and take it in there to see if they can exchange it for you, or at least if they can help you fix it. I know that was not a cheap investment so see if maybe you know a hair stylist that will take pity on you and get one for you at her cost if yours cant be fixed or replaced. Her cost with her license is around half of retail. Good luck to you and your hair!
    just by a new one
no it hasent happend to me but to my friend it has my friend had to bye a new one the spring broke in it

she got one frome conair and it works like a dream!!

What kind of hair straightener should I get?

It needs to work EXTREMELY good. hopefully under $150.What kind of hair straightener should I get?
It depends mainly on your hair type. For mothers day I am giving my mom a Chi Ceramic Iron. Our family has thick hair though, so we need high temperature.

If you have thin and controllable hair, most straighteners should work well, but don't go high temperatured, nothing over 400 for it would fry thin hair.

If you have thick hair like my family, you do need hair temperatures. 400s are fine for thick hair, 300 works I guess, but it takes lots of time. I would not recommend 200s for thick hair, it'll taken 2 hours or so.What kind of hair straightener should I get?
Get the ';Chi Turbo'; It comes with a 1 yr. warranty. I take mine back every year and get a new one, just in case. They cost too much money not too.
i think u should buy ';the chi'; straightner..it works really well, my sister owns one and it takes her little time to get good straightened hair and its only $100..
it depends on your hair but... try babyliss pro titanium etc(beauty choice), sedu revolution (folica),kiyoseki (kstyler) NOT chi... everyone LOVES chi apparently.. but really its not that good and it doesn't glide well it tugs if you can't order online you can go get your hair done at a salon and get the flat iron she/he uses. :)
GHD's are the best to use and the only straighteners which actually work on my hair, they are perfect and give a great result every time. I've had mine for 2-3 years, never had a problem and my hairdresser always uses them on my hair too so I've had them used on my hair for years. Hope this helps
CHI i have one LOVE IT it works perfect and facE!!!! its great:] but for under 150 umm i suggest ebay or a sale hun. i got mine cheeper cause my mom does hair so yeah.
well i have very curly ethnic hair (im mexican and black) and the straightener i use is called the maxi glide and you can buy it online for about 100 dollars. it works VERY good!
Babyliss Pro. Around 124. Leaves my hair silky smooth.
ghds there the best. quite expensive but worth the money.
You can get a CHI flat iron from beautychoice.com, or just go to Winners and find a one inch flat iron there (I hve a Corvex, and it works GREAT, plus it was only $30).

    What brand of hair straightener?

so im looking for a new REALLY good hair straightener. my salon uses chi and i used to have a xion but they both break really fast and only have a one year warranty. I have heard sedu is good but does anybody know? also i want the kind that helps with ions or whatever too. I will probably spend 80-200 dollars on it so any tips are appreciated. oh i have medium length very curly hair. oh and has anybody used hair relaxer or permanent straightening? that might b easier because i spend alot of time straightening my hair! thanks:) %26lt;3What brand of hair straightener?
The Chi hair straightener should have a lifetime warranty, no matter how it breaks. The new Paul Mitchell hair straightener is supposed to be very comparable to the Chi. A ceramic straightener is best. I always recommend to learn how to use a roundbrush to straighten your hair. That way you are only blowdrying your hair, instead of drying and then straightening. If you learn how to use a roundbrush, you will be better off. If you need to, have your stylist teach you how to blow dry your hair using a roundbrush. With your length, you need a larger brush, and with your texture, you want the plastic bristles. You can go into a Trade Secret or beauty supply store and ask for help. What brand of hair straightener?
    LOVE YOUR CURLS!!

I have a head full of really tight unruly curls. I used to hate it, I used to try to straighten it. But nothing works. The chi works for a very short time, if it's very dry outside. But people tell me all the time what cool hair I have. After enough people told me that I finally realized: they're right!!!!

    You have really cool hair!!
have naturally frizzy, and curly hair.. and i got this awesome hair straightener called true ceramic pro.. its the best thing ever..

    i hope this helps
Hi! at the moment im using remington hair straightner- cremic and teflon and its working great for me. lot better than my previous one. it even put shine to my hair. if you have thick hair then get the long one but if you have thin hair then get the slim one. i got mine for $50.00 dollar from BIG W (australia), i would say that brand is sooo good. but you can shop around and find the best one.
Conair Pro Straight Ceram Ic 25 Settings Dual Voltage

on Amazon - best I ever bought! Only have to go over hair once- I have extremely thick VERY long hair and min is done in 2-3 min.

Only $30 - seriously, better than my salons! I had one that was $150-overpriced pc of crap. This one gets very hot (dial temp setting) and fully heats up in 30 seconds!

EVERY one I know has this one now- it's that good.

My first lasted 2 years, loved it so much bought another!

PS- My stylist said that ion stuff is crap.

Ever thought about doing things easy? just use Mixed Chicks hair products and you will get loose curls without any frizz and you can do it by air drying.

Or you can just Mixed Chicks deep and a bit of the leave-in on the tips before you iron...this way no chemicals.

    Good luck.
Babeliss. 拢30 Tesco. They have a sort of brush/comb attachment that starightens your hair as you dry it. That + Treseme heat protection spray is really good.

Whats a good hair straightener that i could use every day without damaging my hair?

Any straightner you use everyday will damage your hair. I use a hair dryer and a straightner everyday. All you have to do is use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. All Straighteners are the same, they will all damage your hair if you don't take care of it. My straightner brand is a Revlon. It works really great.Whats a good hair straightener that i could use every day without damaging my hair?
If you want the best non-damaging hair straightener you should get the GHD IV Styler. This is the best ceramic flat iron you can buy, it gets extremely hot, doesnt damage the hair, and can be used worldwide as it is dual voltage. I carry CHI and many other flat iron brands but none of them compare to the quality and performace of the GHD. For more information or to purchase visit http://www.kristybeauty.comWhats a good hair straightener that i could use every day without damaging my hair?
Forget Chi's. Try AMIKA (www.loveamika.com). Chi is only ceramic COATED on the top, that is why people find so many troubles with it few months after there purchase. Unlike the chi, amika is 100% ceramic. I got mines off ebay for only $60 (brand new). They normally retail for $250. You should definately try it, can't go wrong with it!
I use a Revlon hair Straightener. They cost about thirty dollars and they are worth it. Before you straighten your hair use Tresemme heat conditioner it will help to keep from frying your hair.
to be honest all hair straighteners can ruin your hair if you use it to much. but i use conair and it is pretty good so far i just bought it a couple of days ago.
I'm almost positive any straightener would cause at least some damage if used every day.

    Chi straighteners are good though.
No such thing as a Straightner that won't damage hair. Get a Heat Protector, which will protect it some, and a Ceramic one(A LITTLE healthier then the others.)..
sorry to rain on your parade, but i dont think there is any straightner out there that doesnt damage your hair, sorry

Well I have a really cheap one but it doesn't damage my hair at all! =)
