Best brand of hair straightener?

I need an efficient, relatively cheap hair straightener. I have tried multiple brands over the past four years, but never really find one that amazes me! Is there any advantage to the 2-inch straighteners compared to the 1-inch? Do they work as well, and just cover more hair at one time? Thanks in advance!Best brand of hair straightener?
CHI is the best, it's expensive for sure, but worth it.

Maybe it's time for you to make an investment in one.

Spend $25-$30 a few times a year on iron's that don't stay hot enough, or $100 on one that last 5+ years. I've had mine for 4.5 years, works just as good as the first day I bought it.

No matter how thick your hair is, always go for the thinner 1'; CHI. Also, use CHI Silk Infusion before straightening, it's like liquid silk for your hair.Best brand of hair straightener?
Yes the 2 inch i've learned it just covers more hair at once......i've noticed for me that gold plated ones work the best for me no matter wat brand.! and my hairs pretty thick.!
i think CHI straighteners r the best. they work on any kind of hair. i dont know any difference between the 2 and 1 inch, they work the same 2 me, but i prefer the 1 inch. (ebay is one of the best places 2 get a cheap CHI, its where i got mine and i havent had any problems in the 2 yrs. ive had it)
well, the chi is the best. But quite expensive. For months i looked for a reasonable priced one but if you go to www.overstock.com and type in chi straightener or something simialr to tht it gives you varities of chi straighteners for a fraction of the cost you would find in stores. IT really is good. Also if you buy the pink one it comes w/ products to help keep your hair silky and shiny. hope this helps :)
a chi is the best! it heats up quickly and it's the best!
I used a straightner called chi and it is amazing.

it is the same ones they use in the salons.

the 1-inch is what i have and it works fine and i have really thick hair.
get a remington 2'; wet2dry straightener...........!
the ghd is great, it curls and straightens. its kinda expensive though, but you can get new ones of ebay for reasonably cheap. but an alternative is the remmington wet 2 straight, i have it and it is so wonderful.
