Should I buy this hair straightener?

Hey! I have just won a bid on Ebay for the GHD IV MK4 Hair Straightener Limited Kiss Pink for about $100.00

I was wondering if anyone has used them? What are the pros and cons? Should I go ahead and purchase it or should I retract my bid? Are there any other pro straighteners I should use?? My hair is LONG and thick and slightly curly.

Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks guys!Should I buy this hair straightener?
All i know is GHD's are the best so go for it as you won't get much cheeper than that for them.Should I buy this hair straightener?
Well IMO, GHDs are the best- others come close but have their faults- being too chunky to use, not heating up enough, not leaving hair straight for a long enough time, breaking down or not working as well as time goes by...

But aside from this, make very sure the GHDs you are bidding for are genuine- they sound cheap for that price- perhaps too cheap. If you do bid and win, first thing you do is check and register yourself and the serial number of the actual straighteners you have on the GHD website, if its fake, they will tell you.

Only problem is that to get a refund, you would then have to pay to return them and only be refunded the price of the actual straighteners, none of the postage gets refunded, so potentially, you could lose alot as the return postage would need to be special delivery and would cost a fortune.
I have a ceramic straightener from NP group that works excellently. It is available at salons for about $150 canadian. I just recomended it to a friend of mine, we both have slightly curly hair.

Ive never heard of the one you've mentioned, but you should look it up and see if it is sold in salons.
I have the KISS GHD's and I have to say they are the best straighteners I've ever had.

I have naturally curly hair and they make my hair perfectly straight.

However I paid 拢130 for mine so be careful and try and see if they are genuine
I have it and i love it, but if u purchased it on ebay. It's most likely fake from china. The real thing cost much more then that. My friend purchased it directly from china for about $50 and it's not even close to the real thing.
I have a chi, and its now 3 years old and still works perfectly. I think I paid $95.00 for it from the beauty store. Makeupalley.com has some good reviews on different products.
Check out http://www.topstraighteningiron.com. The site has some good information about the best hair straighteners and where you can find them at the lowest price.
I'd just go with a Chi straightener froma salon, If your going to spend 100 bucks on one get a good one, Might cost 10 more dollars but it's worth it.
