Go with the Solia.. the Solia has heat temperature setting which can be adjusted to accommodate your hair type while the CHI is set to ONE heat setting.. if you have thin hair, that may be harmful and damaging to your hair.

chi, i have used one for about 3 months now and i have to say, it is one of the best straighteners i have used, ever. And, believe me, I've used quite alot of them, everything from g.h.d to babyliss. but that's just me, everyone's hair is different.
