my hair is rlly thick, and like a ugly wavy lol my new one rlllly stinks so im gonna use my own money this time for a really fantastic one!! i want one thts now tht harmful to my hair because its fairly damaged already lol

I have a few high end flat irons, so i'll break it down for you.





GHD IV Styler:


Expensive at about $250


Has a two year warranty


Straightens and curls Amazing





I love this iron, it straightens in one pass and you can very easily make curls and waves. However, if you have fine hair, this iron can be pretty damaging. It has no heat control so that kinda sucks. beware of fakes, as theres tons out there, so only by from a ghd approved place.





Sedu revolution:


2 year warranty


Straightens hair very well. As good as ghd almost


Leaves hair very shiny and silky, seems very non damaging.





This iron is great as well. I really like that it doesn't damage my hair. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't curl well. If you don't curl with your straightener, and you want to keep your hair healthy, this is an excellent choice.





Solia:


As good as GHD for a fraction of the cost, its about $80 on Folica.com


Keeps hair healthy


Curls and straightens fast and easy


Has tourmaline and heat control





This is a great iron for the price, one of my faves.








CHI:


Snaggs hair


No Heat control


Damaging


Plates don't touch correctly


Poor quality





I went through 3 chis in 2 months because of their notorious wiring issue, This iron was good 7 years ago, but chi has failed to upgrade its technology and quality. I do not like this iron.

Chi works really well. And for the damage- use heat protector spray! I recommend got2b Crazy Sleek, it makes your hair shiny and keeps it healthy. I used to have damaged hair with split ends, and it was just horrific. But I got a trim and then used the spray, and now I'm fine!

Oh, not expensive, well I have a Conair one that works well, that brand is pretty good!
I bought my 2-in 1 chi at overstock.com because I could never curl my hair with a straightener so I got 2 in 1.$120.00 it was 200+ before!Sally beauty has generic for chi but make sure u buy the warrantee since the cords are too long it may become defective.65-75.00
bed head products are really good, specially thye straighteners , they also have products for when you starighten it so it wont damage your hair .
chi hair straightener hands down the best out there.
