Bought a hair straightener. but the ceramic plate has a crack?

does a crack in the ceramic plate of a ceramic hair straightener affect anything? should i use it like i did before or buy a new one?

if it's a small one on the side it's not as bad as a big one un the middle, which may get out some sort of white smoke when you're heating it

Take it back to the store where you bought it. Or if you got it online, call the manufacturer.


The crack would probably just get bigger, and without the ceramic, the straightener would burn your hair.
what ever you do .. if you keep on using it .. the crack may become bigger .. i suggest you to return it and get a new one
