What is a good type/brand of hair straightener to buy?

You get what you pay for. A Chi is an investment but you will have it for years. When you use any type of heat to style the hair you should invest in a styling product to protect the hair shaft from the heat or you will dry out your hair and cause damage. You can get a cheaper straightener but it will need to be replaced sooner. How often do you plan on styling your hair this way. I think CHI... I do not like straightening my hair it really damages it
any kind of REAL ceramic straightner. It doesn't fry your hair. and it keeps it looking healthy.

It's a very good hair straightener, controls frizz, has anti-humidity protection, smooths the hair and has UV filter. The prize is about 12 USD but you don't need to much product to straighten your hair. I use it like once a week and it lasts like 4 months or so. You can find it in the beauty saloons.
The brand that is best in my opinion is the CHI. I personaly have one and I have thick wavy hair. My husband says that I could make someone without hair very happy if I donate half of it. lol. Any how it is what most of the salons here use. It run from 140 and up here but well worth the price.
just buy a straightening comb,go to a very big beauty shop,not those corner ones
