Have you ever burned yourself with a hair straightener and found that...?

it left marks on your neck that resemble a vampire's bite...

...At least it was in time for Halloween.Have you ever burned yourself with a hair straightener and found that...?
Leave your hair natural Katerade, and here is my true story why---

When I was in 7th grade, and the Beatles and Rolling Stones were huge, and The Monkees were starting to happen, I hated my curly hair, and wanted straight hair more than anything.. Anyway, my sisters had been dinkin' around with hair straightener, and when they went to bed, I went in the bathroom and found the bottle with some mixture still inside...

';Now!'; I thought...';my chance to have straight hair and be cool!';

So I combed the goop into my hair, and decided to leave it in so it would be extra straight..

Everything went well up to a point..I went to school the next day,

and my hair was straight! I walked around feeling 'mod' and cocksure..one happenin' dude..UNTIL..I went to P.E. and after a sweaty hour out on the kickball field..went to the showers with the other 7th grade jocks... As soon as the shower water hit my hair..a stench went all through the showers..some kind of mix of rotten eggs and old fish and gas chamber...and everyone including coach started freaking out and gasping and shouting WTF?!?!?..Well, I could not grab my towel and dry off and get the hell out of there fast enough...

Unbelievably, I did not get found out..but there and then..I decided to settle for what God had given me....A short time later, Mickey Dolenz

stopped using hair straightener to be a Monkee..and I HATED it..I thought he looked dorky...but I stood my ground...and have curly hair today...and it ain't all so bad...

I've known women whose scalps were burned badly, and lost their hair because of allergic reactions to hair treatment products...

don't become a statistic Katey....you just love touching the fire, don't you/!?Have you ever burned yourself with a hair straightener and found that...?
No but that would be cool, I love vampires! I have burnt a chunk of my hair off with the curling iron once but thankfuly its grown back.
I have never burnt myself with my hair straightener!
No, I've never used one, sorry
that's what my daughter says
