Wats wrong with my hair straightener?

My hair straightener (conair) has been working fine, until recently, when i turn it on only the handle heats up, but not the rest of it, its weird, wat can i do to fix it?.....besides buying a new one......Wats wrong with my hair straightener?
i hate to be the barer or bad news but its time to burry it. When flat irons experience problems like that, the best thing to do is get rid of them. they could start a fire, or burn your hand! you can get cheap ones at sally or harmons that work just fine!Wats wrong with my hair straightener?
If it's less than one year old, the manufacturers should fix it for free and if they can't, they'll replace it for free. If it's more than a year old, you'll have to pay to have it repaired. It sounds like a wiring problem if the handle is heating. I wouldn't advice using it, in case there is an electrical issue. Check that the plug is ok too, you may want to change it for a new plug in case the problem is there, but if you don't know how to changed the plug, let a friend or fam member do it, who does know what they're doing and get them to show you how to do it for future knowledge :o)
you have a case of the mongoose disease, you must now eat your baby ( or straightener) and **** it out, then, ALL BETTA! it fixed :D
