Which hair straightener is best?

i have a conair but i want my hair super straight and my straightener just doesnt do the job. any suggestions? but im not made out of money.Which hair straightener is best?

FHI makes one of the best and most reasonable. It is sold at walmart or Ulta.


This is a solid ceramic plate...not metal covered with ceramic like the chi. It has three baked infused layers and a year warranty with the manufacturer. We sell tons of these and just cant keep them on the shelf....Chi on the other hand is the most returned for defective reasons.


Make sure that you use a good professional thermal protectant prescribed by your stylist. You should also use a professional line of products as well to keep the balance of moisture...or you will have dry, damaged hair in a very short time. BedHead has a great line of straightening products.

Chi's are really good, but really expensive.


I have a Conair Pin Straight as well and mine works fine. But I have thin wavy/straight hair.
The instyler works great and better!!

Most of the lower priced straighteners don't work as well. however, that's not always true. but from my experience i recommend the GHD of the CHI
Herstyler. dont get them from the mall..get them on ebay. they also have zebra ones and cheetah ones. about $45-50. hope i helped :)
try revelon or remington.


conair isnt that great unless you get one thats higher priced.
